It's quite a walk from the train station / old town next to a busy road. Was staying in a private double room which was tiny with a small window high up in the corner. It had no blind so was very bright in the morning. The staff was friendly and helpful but the place lacked the atmosphere - no common area only kitchen / eating area in the basement. Bizarre decor throughout. Paid 150zl for a night which seems too much for what you get, perhaps we paid more because it was during opener festival
This hostel was great! Not for someone who is looking for a "party hostel", it was clean and quiet, the beds were comfortable, and the showers were huge. The free breakfast includes much more than at many hostels. There is a lack of comfortable common space (there's only the kitchen, which is a basement with no windows) but the rooms are very clean and comfortable so if you are out for much of the day it's no problem. Would definitely reccomend.

Pretty typical hostel. Was unfortunate that my first night there the showers were incredibly filthy but every other night was fine. The beds are not very comfortable, but really you get what you pay for. A lot of people complain about the location, but it's only a 10 min walk from the old town so don't think it's that bad. The staff on the first night seemed bothered to help me and give me a map, etc. but the other girls were really helpful!
The hostel is new, and everything is in order and clean.It is not in the Old Town, but walking to the beautiful Old Town takes only 10 minutes or so, the street being fairly safe day or night. Or one can take a tram.Good showers, toilets, and comfy rooms. Ours had a large TV.Very handy to have a buffet breakfast, although nothing it it is cooked, except hard-boiled eggs. The staff present around the clock and very friendly and helpful.
